This page should contain your communications plan outline.
The event “What to do with a Communication Degree” at UBC is specifically for the undergraduate students who are doing Communication Major but still now unsure and suffering in insecurities about their career. This event is to help them overcome their tensions, anxiety, and show them the path to success. By attending the event, students will get to know about the real life communication careers and what to expect from their chosen path. Two bright and important figures, the media and communications specialists of UBC, Erik Rolfson and Clare Hamilton-Eddy will be present at the event to satisfy students’ hunger for their future.
Communication studies are not something to fulfill the cravings of someone’s knowledge. It is more than that. It is something that can help a person to the best of the best, something that teaches people how to deal with the real world and real-life situations. Communication is needed in every aspect of life, from cooking to leading a multinational company. The motto of the event is to bring all the students together and make them understand the value of communication and the need for a good communicator in this modern society.
The event will be held on December 10th, at the grand auditorium of the Arts and Media Building. All students are welcome at the event but we will eagerly wait for the final year media and communication students.
